I am truly grateful for the opportunity to attend and experience the incredible AFP ICON 2024 in Toronto thanks to the AFP Chamberlain Scholarship, Ottawa Chapter. I laughed, I cried, I witnessed the Eclipse (kind of, it was quite cloudy). In all sincerity, every session I attended left me inspired and curious. The topics and content were informative, thoughtful, and empowering. The opening and closing Keynote addresses were powerful. Every where I looked and every peer I met reminded me of just how the work of fundraisers and folks working in the nonprofit sector is incredibly important.
